Emir Davis is a trainer and coach and supports organizations and their people to go from modest or disjointed initiatives to self-sustaining, game-changing, paradigm-shifting breakthroughs. His areas of focus in his professional development work are Executive Leadership, Culturally Responsive Competencies, Organizational Culture, and Program Evaluation. He has served as a school leader as well as a leader of an initiative to engage Black male educators. In those capacities, he partnered with school boards, K-12 school leaders, colleges and universities, and teacher preparation programs to develop strategies to support the retention and development of Black male educators. Emir executed a multi-year vision for engaging and supporting black male educators throughout the nation, which included the following functions: moderation of annual national conferences, facilitating monthly workshops with K-12 educators centered on culturally responsive pedagogy, leading affinity conversations with educators and designing and leading teaching practicums that are centered on equity-based teaching. Emir is particularly skilled at cultivating strategic partnerships with mission-aligned partners/clients.
