BIO

From a lineage of warrior-healers

For over a decade now, Heidi Williams-Cooper has championed the cause of equipping teachers, students and families with the tools to understand and cultivate culturally responsive social-emotional well-being and holistic wellness-first as a parent advocating on behalf of her own children and then as an educator. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Culture and Community Wellness at the Kindezi Schools, striving to ensure that all members of the village are safe, socially-emotionally well and holistically growing.

In addition to her work at Kindezi, Heidi also is a social-emotional and educational equity consultant and the grounding expert for Listening 4 Justice.
