HTI facilitates three off-site multi-day gatherings for a team that lives across the country. Team-building as well as knowledge-building around Black liberatory education.

“You guys always fulfill exactly what we need when we need it at those moments. I thought we did not need outside facilitators and that we could do that ourselves. You can’t facilitate and be a part. That was my colleague’s argument. I stand corrected. And ever since then, anytime it’s any talk of HTI Catalysts not being there, it’s a cringe moment for me. And I’m just, I…I just can’t now. All of these years later, I can’t see it [all-staff gatherings and leadership stepbacks] without HTI.”
